George
Bronstein is the owner of Sandstone construction, a general contracting
company based in Carmel Valley, San Diego that specializes in commercial
and residential construction, including home remodeling, commercial
tenant improvements and small to medium-size commercial developments.
A
seasoned professional in the construction industry with more than
18 years of experience, George brings a
strong commitment to excellence and quality to each and every job.
During
the early years of his career, George worked for some of the most
reputable general contractors in the industry, including Morley
Builders, J.A. Jones Construction, Rudolph and Sletten, and Lusardi
Construction. Along the way, George helped build some of the area’s most recognized buildings,
including the Cathedral of the Lady of the Angels in downtown Los
Angeles, the Santa Monica Public Safety Facility in Santa Monica,
and the Kaiser Sunset Hospital in Hollywood (click here for project

A
graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Civil Engineering,
George has held the title of California Professional Engineer since
1995. George has also taken several classes towards his long-term
goal of obtaining a Masters Degree in Construction Management from
USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering. In addition,
George is working towards attaining his LEED (Leadership in Energy
and Environmental Design) certification in green building construction.
A
native of Peru, George is fluent in
English and Spanish. George is an active
volunteer in the community, serving on
the Board of the Jewish National Fund,
together with helping to raise funds
for the United Jewish Federation of San
Diego and Ocean Air Elementary
School. He resides in Carmel Valley,
San Diego with his wife and their three
